Blue-chip LB loves OU-UT battle

One of the many standouts at the Oklahoma-Texas game this Saturday was Mesquite (Texas) North Mesquite linebacker Aaron Harris.
The standout linebacker has been listing Texas, Oklahoma and A&M as his top three teams heading into the game, so what did he have to think battle between the two top five teams?
“They both looked good,” Harris said. “I couldn’t tell who looked better. It’s hard to say that Oklahoma looked that much better, because it was so close and all they did was make a few more big plays. The Texas defense held them the entire game, but the OU defense just made a few more plays.”
Plays that he noticed.
“Did you see (Teddy) Lehman on the interception?” Harris asked. “He was in the right spot at the right time, and Rocky was flying around making a bunch of tackles, too. And did you see Derrick Johnson? He was all over, too. I was really watching how the linebackers from both teams played and where and how I could fit in.”
So could he?
“I think I could at both places, which makes it so tough to say that one is better than the other,” Harris said. “I think I could play at both places pretty early if they need me too.”
After saying that it was a three-team race for most of the recruiting process, Harris said he’s now opened the door for Florida State again. He said he would visit FSU this upcoming weekend for the Noles big game against Miami.
“It’s the best game in the country,” he said. “I couldn’t pass that up.”
Harris also said not to leave A&M out of the picture for him. He said he plans on setting up trips with A&M, OU and Texas here in the next week or two.
