Blue-chip LB back from trip

Trip No. 3 is done for one of the nation's top linebackers. So how did San Diego (Calif.) Mission Bay linebacker Scott White's trip to Colorado this weekend stack up compared to Washington and Oklahoma?
"It was different, but different in a good way," White, who is 6-foot-3, 230 pounds, said. "I think that campus is one of the most beautiful that I've ever seen.

"The mountains and the setting are incredible."
Incredible enough to push Washington out of the top spot on his list?
"I still like Washington a little bit better," White said. "But Colorado and Oklahoma are right there, too."
White said he's not sure whom the final two visits will go to and at this point he said he might sit down and start to think about maybe making a decision.
White said Clyde Surrell hosted him on the visit.
"He’s a real good guy," White said.
"He showed me a lot of things that were behind the scenes - like the training tables and how they do things at practice."
