Bledsoe wins state, sets trips

While many recruits are off taking visits all over the nation, one of the best in the Southeast is celebrating a state championship. That’s the story for Little Rock (Ark.) Central three-star defensive tackle Fred Beldsoe.
The 6-foot-4, 280-pound Bledsoe led his team to the Arkansas Class 5A state championship this weekend. And with that now behind him, he’s going to focus hard on the recruiting process.

“I start with my first visit next weekend,” Bledsoe, ranked as the nation’s No. 32 defensive tackle by Rivals.com, said. “I’m going to visit Tennessee next weekend, and then Oklahoma State on December 19.
”In January, I’m going to Alabama on January 9 and then Arkansas on January 19. Florida is going to be the other visit I visit.”
Bledsoe had been listing Oklahoma on his list, but he said the Sooners have recently backed off of him.
“I think Oklahoma thought I was going to Arkansas, so they’re done talking to me,” Bledsoe said.
So is that true, is he going to be a Hawg?
“You’ll just have to wait,” he said. “I’m still open to about everything, but I’ve been thinking about some things.”
