Bledsoe excited about new ranking

Little Rock (Ark.) Central defensive tackle Fred Bledsoe is excited. No, he’s not made an oral commitment or anything like that. He’s excited about his new ranking on Rivals.com.
It’s a ranking that has pushed him up to four stars and to No. 21 at defensive tackles according to Rivals.com.

“I saw that you guys pushed me up to four stars,” Bledsoe said. “I was pumped about that. I worked hard to get there. I was kind of hoping to get that fifth star, and get some more exposure, but I appreciate the new ranking.”
When you have a season that leads to a state championship and to having teams like Arkansas, Tennessee and Oklahoma State battle for you, you deserve a high ranking.
Speaking of Arkansas, Tennessee and Oklahoma State, what’s the latest in the battle for his commitment?
“I’m not really leaning anywhere,” Bledsoe, who is 6-foot-4 and 280 pounds, said. “I’m just straight like a statue. I’m not pointing at anybody. I’m just pointing straight up and now at anybody.”
Bledsoe did say that he enjoyed his in-home visit this past week with UT coach Phillip Fulmer.
“Oh man, he’s a great guy,” Bledsoe said. “He’s a well-rounded man. He talks about what he feels. He sat down and got serious with us. I told him that we’re going to have to pray about the decision.”
Bledsoe said after he visits next weekend to Arkansas, Oklahoma State coach Les Miles will be making his in-home visit. Houston Nutt has already been in home with Bledsoe.
