Blazers add Florida OL
Vernon (Fla.) offensive lineman Rolando Brown has decided to play his college football in Conference USA.
"I committed to UAB," Brown said. "I liked the people up there. There are good people and the coaches.

New Blazers offensive line coach Will Friend was Brown's recruiter of record.
"He did a good job," Brown said.
The 6-foot-5, 305-pound Brown previously visited Ole Miss in November and was high on the Rebels for some time.
"I tried to commit and they said I wasn't eligible," Brown said. "I they had my old ACT scores. I've got new scores now and I am eligible, but (the Rebels) quit calling me after I visited."
The two-star rated Brown picked the Blazers over East Carolina.
UAB is going to start Brown out at offensive tackle. He made his official visit to Birmingham this past weekend.
