Blaylock sits with three offers

Three scholarship offers are already sitting on the table for Cedar Hill, Texas wide receiver Romie Blaylock with a host of others sending consistent amounts of mail. The recruiting process has started very quickly for the talented North Texas prospect.
The 5-foot-11, 175-pound speedster has been offered so far by Baylor, Houston, and Kansas State. There are still schools such as LSU, Kansas, Texas Tech, and Oklahoma State in heavy pursuit. Regardless, two schools have emerged as leaders.

"Baylor is up there along with Texas," Blaylock said. "I haven't gotten much from Texas or an offer or anything, but they're my favorite school. Baylor, I've already got an offer from them and I can go there to do both track and football. That's something that's important for me."
Blaylock says that offensive scheme is also important and that's another area that Baylor has impressed him in.
"The offense that they run is important and I know Baylor has spread it out a lot more which is like what we run here at Cedar Hill," Blaylock said. "I'm also looking at playing time."
There will be no rushing a decision. The talented receiver says he wants to wait things out and decide sometime during his fall season.
So far, he has see the Baylor campus while participating in a combine on their campus several weeks ago. No other trips have been planned.
