Erie (Pa.) Cathedral defensive lineman Joe Blanks has added a second scholarship offer to the one he received from Akron early in the season. And this one comes from the school that sits at the top of his list.
"Nebraska and Akron have officially offered on paper," Blanks said. "I have a visit set up with Nebraska Dec. 10. That's the only one I have for sure.
"Nebraska, West Virginia, Iowa, Akron, and probably Michigan State are probably my top five. Nebraska is probably my favorite. They show a lot of interest in me. I like what the future is for them. I just think they'll be a good team."
The 6-foot-3, 305-pound Blanks is averaging five tackles per game through the first seven games of his senior season. Blanks is the No. 33 prospect in the state of Pennsylvania in the Rivals.com player rankings.
