Blankenship still waiting

Monaca (Pa.) Center Area offensive lineman Evan Blankenship attended Ohio State's senior advanced camp as expected on Friday.
Before the camp Blankenship said he did not expect to make a decision on his college till sometime in August, and that remains the case. But that doesn't mean things didn't go well for Blankenship on Saturday.

"I did the drills, but I only did most of them once," Blankenship said. "It went real well. I was very pleased with everything. I had a fun time."
Buckeye assistant Joe Daniels, who is recruiting Blankenship, was not able to make it to the camp due to health issues.
"I talked to Jim Tressel for a good five or ten minutes when I got there," Blankenship said. "And I talked to Jim Bollman. I had a little meeting with him before I went on a tour. He went on the tour with me."
At least for now Blankenship is holding to his word of a likely late July or August decision.
"As far as a commitment goes, I'm still shooting for before my senior season starts," he said. "Ohio State and Pitt are still my favorites. I can't say which one I like better. Let's just call them even for now."
The 6-foot-3 and 310-pounder, who has scholarship offers from Ohio State, Pitt and Temple, began the week at Michigan's camp.
