Blankenship reducing his list

Tulsa (Okla.) Union three-star weakside defensive end Adam Blankenship took his first official visit this past weekend to Colorado State.
However, the 6-foot-4, 230-pounder is out studying with a study group tonight, so we went to the next best source for information about him – his father and coach, Bill Blankenship.

“He really liked his visit, but I don’t know too many guys that don’t go up there and not like it,” Blankenship said. “Colorado State is a really impressive place, and he was hosted by (former Union star) Blake Smith, so he really made him feel right at home.”
Blankenship was originally scheduled to visit Kansas this weekend, but it looks like there is a change.
“He’s canceled Kansas,” Blankenship said. “We’re supposed to go to Missouri in early January, but he’s working hard now to get that changed to December 19. I think he’s really narrowing his focus on a few teams like Colorado State and Missouri. The rest, we’ll just have to wait and see.”
Blankenship has scholarship offers from Arkansas, Baylor, Wyoming, Tulsa, Kansas and Missouri.
