Blackston likes Terps, Tigers

Coleman Blackston is an all-purpose back from Baltimore (Md.) Dunbar and the Class of 2014 prospect has an early offer from Old Dominion.
Not surprisingly, then, ODU has secured an early spot in Blackston's top three.

He's also very interested in two other schools that haven't offered yet.
"I really like ODU, Clemson and Maryland," Blackston said, acknowledging that the Terps and Tigers haven't shown a lot of interest so far but saying he hopes they start to.
The 5-foot-8, 182-pound back rushed for 10 touchdowns last year and believes he would be a good fit in each of those offenses.
This summer he will have a chance to earn more offers.
"I'm going to a Vanderbilt camp, the UT camp in Tennessee and an NUC camp in Texas," Blackston said.
"Vanderbilt and Tennessee haven't said much. I just want to see what it looks like and see what they tell me."
The Old Dominion coach actually stopped by Dunbar to offer Blackston's teammate, Marvin Gross, and was impressed with the rising junior back as well.
Blackston said he thinks of himself as a running back but is open to being playing in the slot as well.
