Blackmon targets major programs

Ronnie Blackmon has four early offers and the 2016 prospect said he's also targeting three other programs for offers and he's hopeful they will come soon.
The Tyrone (Ga.) Sandy Creek cornerback said last week at the Under Armour Junior Combine that he has landed offers from Akron, Duke, Georgia Tech and Kent State and that one ACC program is especially impressive so far.

"Georgia Tech is standing out," Blackmon said.
"They've been involved. They came to the school a few times and I went to a couple of their games. They showed me a lot of love."
Those offers are nice but the 2016 prospect said he has his eyes especially on Florida State, Alabama and Georgia.
The 5-foot-10, 168-pound prospect said he really likes those programs and wants to hear more from them as his recruitment continues.
Blackmon has attended some camps and as his junior season gets closer the Georgia recruit hopes things pick up with those three powerhouses.
"I'm really interested in Florida State, Alabama and Georgia," Blackmon said.
"I went to some of their camps and I've visited a few times and then they came to talk with me at the school. I feel like an offer is pretty close but I don't really know for sure."
The Tyrone Sandy Creek standout finished with 25 tackles, two interceptions and a sack in his sophomore season.
