Bishop McDevitt CB lands first offer

Harrisburg (Pa.) Bishop McDevitt has quite a few players to watch in 2008. A new one to add to the list is 6-foot-2, 194-pound cornerback Tyrell Harris. Harris already holds one offer and is getting interest from plenty of other schools.
"I've got a scholarship from Syracuse," he said. "I'm getting looks from Pittsburgh, Notre Dame, Michigan and a bunch of other Division I schools. I think I'm going to get another offer real soon from Miami (Ohio) after I take the SAT."

Recently Harris added an offer from Syracuse.
"I picked it up over the Easter break," he said. "I don't really know much about them, but I'm very interested in anyone that offers."
Currently the Irish standout for the Keystone State prospect's services.
"I would say Notre Dame is my favorite," he said. "Academic wise I know I could do well down there and then the corners are good too. I like the way their cornerback coach teaches, he actually breaks you down and understands the game. I went up there for one of their junior days earlier this spring."
Besides South Bend, Harris has been to Pittsburgh and Penn State. I loved both of those visits too," he said. "When I was up at Penn State, their corners are fast and have great footwork. I like the coaching staff at Pittsburgh, they are like family."
Harris plans to attend the Nike Camp at Penn State later this spring.
