Birdine says hes solid again

Lawton (Okla.) Eisenhower defensive end Larry Birdine has made a decision. And it's one that he also made two months earlier.
"I'm a Sooner," Birdine said just as he was walking in from his official visit to Oklahoma. "I committed to them before, but just promised my family that I would go visit OSU. I did, but then I went to Oklahoma this weekend.

"It blew OSU away. I'm 100 percent. I'm a Sooner. Write that up on your website."
Birdine, who is 6-foot-4 and 230 pounds, said he told coach Stoops before he left this morning of his decision and that he will not take a planned visit to Texas A&M on Jan. 11.
"I'm done," Birdine said. "Coach Stoops said that's what he wanted to hear."
