Billyk ready to choose

New Castle, Pa. defensive end Allen Billyk has two more official visits scheduled, but he might be closer to a decision than ever.

"I have Michigan set for Jan. 10 and now I have Stanford on Jan. 17," said the 6-foot-4, 260-pounder. "I'd still like to decide by Christmas if I can. Right now it's between Boston College and Virginia."

The Eagles coaches head to the Billyk household on Wednesday and Virginia comes on Thursday.

"Hopefully I can make a decision by next week after talking to them," he said. "It will come down to where I feel the most comfortable and what the best playing opportunity is. I think I could get a good chance to play early at either place. Right now I have the best relationship with coach Rocco from Virginia, but I just took a visit to BC last week and it really surprised me. It will be tough."
