Bigtime DE Commits To UNC
The University of North Carolina football staff have received an important oral commitment from Woodrow Wilson High School (N.J.) defensive end Melik Brown.
"He committed on Thursday night," said Woodrow Wilson head coach Mike McBride. "He chose UNC over Boston College, Rutgers, Georgia Tech,Tennessee and alot of other schools."
Brown, who is from Camden, N.J., stands 6-foot-2 and weighs 225 pounds. Brown runs a 4.6-second 40-yard dash and is quick enough to play linebacker in college as well. North Carolina will give him his first try at defensive end. Brown had more than 15 offers.
