Big WR Blackwell is taking visits

Despite his massive 6-foot-5, 200-pound frame, Salisbury (Md.) Wicomico wide receiver Tyjae Blackwell hasn't pulled his first scholarship. The Maryland target is getting plenty of interest though from colleges.
"He's getting a lot of interest," Wicomico head coach David Nettles said. "The major ones in on him are Boston College, Michigan, Penn State, Maryland and North Carolina. They are all calling trying to set up visits and stopping by."

Blackwell took a visit to one of the schools recently.
"We've been able to go to Maryland so far," he said. "That was really his first look at a Division I program and he was really in awe. He didn't have Maryland on the radar until after the visit, but he was impressed.
"But, he's going to feel like that everywhere he goes. He's just like a kid in a candy store and it's overwhelming."
Another trip is coming up this weekend for the wideout to Penn State for their spring game.
