Big week for Peterman

Last week was a good week for Youngtown (Ohio) Ursuline cornerback Dale Peterman.
Not only did he have a strong performance at the Elite Training Camp at Cleveland Browns Stadium, he followed that up with a great day at the NIKE Training Camp last Friday, earning rave reviews from Rivals.com analysts.

"I knew I was going to have a good week," Peterman, who is 5-foot-11 and 163 pounds, said. "I've been working hard this off-season to get better and I wanted to showcase my talents to as many people as I can."
He did just that.
Peterman, who is still working on achieving a qualifying academic standard, said last week that South Carolina is a school he's very high on. That remains the same still, and if an official offer comes through, it sounds like he could be a Gamecock.
"I talk to (South Carolina) almost every day," Peterman said. "My family made our decision and South Carolina is where I want to be. The coaches said they want me to come out there because, they want to see how I move and stuff, and you know, I'll go show them what I got."
Peterman said Akron and Bowling Green have also offered him a scholarship. He also is getting interest from Illinois, Indiana, Michigan State, Penn State, Pittsburgh and others.
Peterman said he would like to see if he can get USC to also offer a scholarship to his teammate, running back/athlete Darrell Mason.
"If they don't I still feel South Carolina is where I want to go," he said. "If they do, that would be the icing on the cake. I mean we have been talking about playing together since we where freshman's in high school.
"Coach Cedric talked to him. He is our recruiting coordinator. They want to see him in person. If he goes down there I think they will offer him."
