Big week ahead for Wallace

This could be an important week for Phenix City (Ala.) Central junior quarterback Jonathan Wallace, who has five FBS offers but is hoping to land even more.
The reason?

"Oregon is coming by on Tuesday," Wallace said. "Clemson is coming [this week], too."
According to the 6-foot-1, 203-pounder, he is getting positive vibes from both schools.
"Hopefully, Oregon will get to see me throw a little bit for them when they come down," Wallace said. "They're very interested in me. I really fit into their offense perfectly at the quarterback position. When they come down, hopefully I'll get an offer. Clemson came by last week. I talked to [assistant Charlie Harbison] and we had a good little talk. He told the offensive coordinator about me. The QB coach is supposed to be coming down."
Thus far, Wallace holds offers from Arkansas State, Florida International, Memphis, Middle Tennessee State and Western Kentucky. Additional interest is coming from UAB and Southern Miss, he said.
"I'd have to say Arkansas State and Florida International [are standing out]," Wallace said.
Here's what he likes about each …
Arkansas State: "I like the coaching staff. I've been talking to them ever since the day after signing day. We've been in contact a whole lot during that period. They offered me the day after signing day. I think that speaks for itself. They really want me to come up [for a visit]."
FIU: "I've talked to their coaches and I've been hearing it's a great place down there. I'm trying to go there. I haven't been able to get my date down, but I'm doing that this week."
