Big VA wideout waiting for more offers

Recruiting is taking center stage for wide receiver Deon Miller out of Highland Springs, Va. The 6-foot-5, 185-pounder holds an offer from Temple. A few other schools are still eyeing the Commonwealth prospect.
"I'm talking to Morgan State, Old Dominion and Connecticut," he said. "I talked to Connecticut the other day.

"They are just saying it's good to see a receiver like myself, with my height and ability available. They just want me to get my grades up a bit more. They haven't talked about offering me."
Meanwhile, Miller hasn't begun to consider visits to schools either.
The two-star prospect helped Highland Springs to a 10-1 record.
"It wasn't a great season, but it was a good year," he said. "It could have definitely been better.
"I think I did real well. I helped my team as much as I could. I saw a big improvement all over the field and my statistics were much better."
Miller finished the year with 27 receptions for 570-yards and six touchdowns.
