Big VA OL needs strong senior year

Virginia is loaded with talent in 2006 and there may be no one bigger than offensive tackle Billy Cuffee out of Chesapeake (Va.) Deep Creek.
The huge 6-foot-5, 310-pounder has already received interest from schools in the ACC like North Carolina, North Carolina State, Virginia and Virginia Tech, although he hasn't received any offers to date.

This past season Cuffee was sidelined with a hip injury that held him out the entire year, as Deep Creek went on to a 9-2 record.
"The injury has healed up well and he's fine now," said head coach David Cox. "He'll be ready to play this year.
"He can be as good as he wants to be," he said. "He still needs to do a little work in the classroom, but he has what it takes.
"He's a big, solid kid who's not fat and moves very well. He's a combination of a little of everything."
So how important will his senior year be?
"His senior year is going to mean everything to him," Cox said. "I don't think he has any schools at the top of his list right now, because he's still got to clean up some in the classroom."
Cuffee is planning on attending the Nike Camp at Virginia Tech this spring.
This summer Cox assumes Cuffee will at least attend summer camps at either Virginia or Virginia Tech.
