Big transfer for NY athlete

Junior athlete Faton Bauta has remained relatively quiet thus far, despite already holding two offers. However, Bauta recently found out that he will be making a big move, as he will be taking his skills from Brooklyn (N.Y.) Poly Prep to one of the top football high school programs in South Florida.
"My parents are moving to the West Palm Beach area of Florida and I will be enrolled at Dwyer High School in Palm Beach Gardens within the next two weeks," said Bauta, who is 6-foot-3, 225 pounds, and already holds offers from Pittsburgh and Maryland.

Bauta realizes that his transfer will involve a great deal of adjustment.
"I was nervous at first, but Dwyer has a great program with a winning tradition and I am excited to join them for my senior season," said Bauta. "Transferring to another school is never easy, but I am going to do whatever it takes to help Dwyer win. My ultimate goal is to bring Dwyer back to where they belong, state champions."
Bauta has held his two offers since last year, and believes that this number will soon begin to grow.
"Recruiting has been going well," he said. "I just recently sent my film out to a bunch of schools and I expect to get more attention because I believe my skills have increased tenfold since last year. My sophomore film garnered me two offers, my junior film should garner me many more. Every day I wake up, I have one goal in mind, and that is to get better, otherwise I'd be wasting my own time and the time of those around me."
With his upcoming transfer, Bauta's schedule has been hectic, so visiting schools has been difficult.
"I have not taken any visits and don't have a list as of yet," said Bauta. "I will take it one step at a time. I will soon figure out which camps I will attend, if any, but first I have a few combines coming up. Spring ball is right around the corner. My performance there, plus the feedback I receive on my junior year highlights will be very important factors for me moving forward with everything. But as of now I am simply looking forward to meeting my new teammates and coaches."
One of these upcoming events will be the NUC/Rivals.com Five Star Showcase, which takes place March 12th in New Jersey.
"I will definitely still be attending the Rivals event in New Jersey next month," said Bauta. "In fact, I am looking forward to it."
