Big test upcoming for Quarles

Aurora (Colo.) Grandview receiver Aubrey Quarles is being watched heavily by a number of college coaches all because of an upcoming test score.
Quarles, the 6-foot, 175-pound No. 5 rated player in the state, is preparing to take his ACT and hopes to see more offers come his way after that. The in-state Colorado Buffaloes are the only school to send him a coveted scholarship, but Quarles is looking for many more.

"Once school gets going, I'll take that and then I think the stuff will start happening," Quarles said. "I probably will see more offers, I hope."
The solid receiver certainly has the talent to make a big splash at the Division I level and with a good test score could really jump up the charts. It all starts with Quarles mentality on the practice field.
"It's a lot of hard work but I'm ready to start school now so I can get into that season," Quarles said. "This is a fun time of year."
What else has been fun is sorting through the mass amounts of mail he has been receiving as of late.
"I've got some from Notre Dame, some from Tennessee, Kansas, Kansas State, Michigan State, California, and Arizona State mainly," Quarles said. "I would say CU is the favorite. If I were able to get out-of-state, that might be good too though."
When his test scores get handled, Quarles would like to make a later decision.
"After my senior season, I'll decide," he said. "I'm not setting up visits yet, but I'm going to visit CU of course. I want to go down to Arizona and I really want to get out there and see Cal. Nothing is set up for sure yet."
