Big Ten visit doesnt change Pitt commitment
Pahokee, Fla., defensive back and Pitt commitment Ricky Gary made an official visit to Minnesota this weekend. The trip did not change Gary's mind. However a visit to Ohio State is still on the horizon.
"I visited Minnesota," Gary said. "It went good. I liked how it's cold up there, but they have a lot of indoor facilities. And I liked the dorms and the facilities.

"But I'm still committed to Pitt. I haven't changed my mind."
However Gary is planning to visit the Buckeyes.
"I'm going to visit Ohio State, I think Jan. 6," he said. "The Buckeyes have big-time tradition. They play in a great conference and they play in big bowl games. They compete for a national championship every year. They get a lot of publicity."
When asked if he might change his commitment from Pitt to Ohio State, Gary said, "We'll see. I want to see what they have to offer."
The 5-foot-8 and 165 pound Gary, who made his official visit to Pitt Dec. 2, made 42 tackles and intercepted four passes during his senior season.
