Big Ten schools dot Floridians list

Pahokee, Fla., wide receiver Tamarcus Porter had a fine senior season on both sides of the ball. He caught 45 passes and scored 15 times on offense while intercepting five passes on the other side of the ball.
The 6-foot-0 and 171-pound Porter could play on either side of the ball in college, but wide receiver seems most likely.

"I'm getting recruited as an athlete," Porter said. "Whatever gets me on the field the fastest."
Porter has already made official visits to Pitt and Boston College.
"I don't have anymore scheduled right now," he said. "I'll take the rest of my visits in January."
When asked who he is considering for his last three trips, Porter said, "Ohio State, Virginia, Wisconsin, Maryland, Wake Forest, and Iowa. Those are the ones."
Porter said all of the schools on his list have offered a scholarship.
"Wake Forest, Pitt, Wisconsin, and Maryland were down here this week," Porter said. "And Ohio State was here last week."
