Big Ten recruiters check out Ellingsen

Crown Point, Ind. offensive lineman Steve Ellingsen , a 6-foot-5 and 270 pounder, has been a varsity starter since his sophomore year when he played tackle. Ellingsen moved to guard his junior season and could play either position in college.
"Depending on what scheme he plays in, he could play either guard or tackle in college," Crown Point coach Chip Pettit said.

"He has been to junior days at Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan State, and a Notre Dame spring practice."
"He went to Louisville, Purdue, and he's been to Ball State."
"Everybody's been in to our school, from Purdue, Indiana, Illinois, and Northwestern, to all the MAC schools."
"Everybody wants to get him in camp. They say he's definitely a division I guy, from there they'll see if he's a Big Ten guy."
"He'll definitely go to camps at Illinois, Purdue, Michigan State, Wisconsin, and Indiana, and see how it goes from there."
