Big Ten is first to offer Krah

Durham (N.C.) Hillside cornerback Aaron Krah pulled his first scholarship on Thursday night. The 5-foot-11, 179-pounder landed the offer from the Big Ten.
"I got my first offer a few hours ago from Minnesota," he said. "I called their coach and spoke to them on Wednesday and then they did their meeting and they told me they wanted to offer me.

"I was excited especially for it being my first offer. I've been waiting for it and finally, it showed me all my work, everything I put in the past season is paying off."
Krah discussed the Golden Gophers more.
"The coach actually gave me a website to look at and I want to check out the campus," he said. "I'm taking his word for it, but it's supposed to be one of the top three campuses in the country. I know they have a really good academic program, I'm looking at criminal law."
Krah is trying to get out to Minnesota for a visit this summer, but didn't rule out the possibility it could be until fall.
A few other schools including North Carolina, Georgia Tech, Ohio State, NC State and Liberty are also showing interest.
"Most of the time they give me camp talk, they want me to come by," he said. "My schedule for this summer isn't planned, I've got to sit down with my parents and get straight to the point."
Does Krah like anybody?
"I don't really have any leaders, I'm looking at all my options," he said. "I'm going to keep working hard and hopefully more offers come."
A strong student, Krah boasts a 3.5 GPA.
Last season for Hillside he posted all-conference honors after recording five interceptions.
