Big season results in interest for Jersey QB

Quarterback D.J. Sargenti out of Ridgefield (N.J.) Ridgefield Memorial posted over 2,000-yards of offense last year. The 6-foot-0, 190-pounder has seen interest pick up following the successful season.
"Our team didn't do too well, we finished 3-6 mostly due to injuries," he said. "I did well running for 1,000 and throwing for over 1,000. I was second team all-league.

"I got a lot more comfortable. I need to work on my passing game more and spend more time with that."
On the recruiting front, colleges are interested.
"I've been hearing from Connecticut and Vanderbilt along with Boston College," he said. "I don't like anybody. I have to see all of the schools first.
"I am looking for a smaller Division I school. I don't want a huge one. I also want to play when I go to college. Then I want a school with good academics."
