Big Peach State WR has ten offers

In case you are keeping up with the running tally, it seems as though there are as many prospects in the Peach State as there Waffle Houses. Atlanta (Ga.) Douglass wide receiver Greg Smith has not been talked about as much as other receivers in the South certainly has an impressive list of offers.
“I have offers from Duke, Connecticut, Indiana, Wake Forest, Georgia Tech, Alabama, Mississippi State, Maryland, NC State and Oklahoma State so far,” Smith said. “I’m hearing from a lot of other schools as well.”

Smith checks in at about 6-foot-2.5 and weighs 190 pounds. Smith has an impressive 40-yard dash time at 4.5 seconds. He also has a 225-pound bench press, 405-pound squat and a 38-inch vertical jump.
“Right now my top schools are Duke, Connecticut, Alabama, Georgia Tech, Mississippi State, Florida, NC State and Clemson,” Smith said. “Right now I am treating all the schools the same and keeping my options open. I never have been a fan of one particular school or anything.”
As a junior Smith caught 35 passes for right at 600 yards and scored six touchdowns.
“The first thing I am looking for in a school is academics,” Smith said. “I take great pride in my school work and that will carry over to college. I want to play in an offense that likes to throw the ball and I really would like to play early.”
Smith is an excellent academic student who boasts a 3.8 GPA and has already scored a 940 on the SAT.
“I would like to go to the same place as one of my teammates,” Smith said. “With so many of us getting recruited I think that is a possibility. Right now I just want to take all of my visits and I plan to go throughout the process and make the right decision.”
