Big PA lineman stuck on two offers

Two-star Harrisburg (Pa.) Bishop McDevitt High offensive/defensive lineman Quincy Rain is continuing to receive interest, but still sees his scholarship offer count remain at two. The 6-foot-5, 290-pound athlete runs the 40-yard dash in 5.0 seconds and is diligently working to increase that total.
Rain currently has scholarship offers from Temple and West Virginia and has received calls from Purdue, Temple, and Hofstra this month. West Virginia, Pitt, Temple, Maryland, Michigan State and Virginia are his current favorites and he said he currently claims no leader. Why does he like these schools?

West Virginia, I’ve been there a couple of times. I like the facilities, and the coaching staff is nice,” he said. “Pitt is basically the same. Temple, they have been on me hard with aggressive recruiting, and have shown a lot of interest.
“I like the facilities at Maryland,” he continued. “It really surprised me. I didn’t think the facilities were that great (before his visit), but I went down there and saw their indoor facility. I was really impressed and liked it a lot.
Michigan State (offensive line coach, Jeff) Stoutland, I liked a lot. I talked to them a couple of times, and I liked the coaching staff. Virginia invited me to the spring game, and they have good facilities and they are strict on education. They have a learning center inside the stadium, and that impressed me.”
Rain does not have any official or unofficial visits planned yet, but camped at West Virginia and Pitt this summer.
Although he projects as an offensive tackle at the next level, he is also a three-year letterman on the defensive line in high school. In the first two games of the season, he has recorded 10 tackles and a sack. He maintains a 2.5 GPA and is scheduled to take the SAT in October. He plans to major in business.
