Pedro visited Maryland recently and was very impressed.
"Maryland was very nice, the campus was beautiful and the coaches and players were nice too. They are in my top five for now, but things could change."
For now, Pedro has narrowed down his choices to five schools. He likes Rutgers, South Carolina, Maryland, Virginia and Tennessee. He plans on taking his visits before making a decision, but don't be surprised if he commits early.
"I like Rutgers a lot, they offered first and that's important to me. They're building the program there and I think things will get better soon."
He will be camping at Rutgers this week.
Pedros' stock is on the rise and he is considered one of the top offensive linemen in the east. He has great feet and he has a frame to carry more than 300 pounds. Pedro recently received his SAT score of 890 and is now a full qualifier.
