Big man picks his big five

For months Duncanville, Texas, defensive tackle Xavier Lawson-Kennedy has been a guy that fans have been obsessing over. And now the obsession will continue for five teams only because XLK is down to his final five, according to coach Dan Schreiber.
"He's got his five visits set up,” Schreiber said just moments ago. "I don't know what weekend he is going for to each of these, but he's down to his final five."

And it's an interesting mix of schools - especially when you look at the list and see a few teams that have been linked to him since day one aren't there.
"He's going to visit Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Oklahoma State and USC," Schreiber said. "Like I said, I don't know when he's going to those, but I've confirmed with the schools and with Xavier that those are his five and that's the schools he'll be visiting."
XLK, who is 6-foot-3 and 305 pounds, had always mentioned Texas, Florida State, Florida and Miami as potential visit candidates but those teams are noticeably missing from his list.
"Xavier wants to go to place where he can play early," Schreiber said. "I think those schools on his list offer him that chance and he's happy with the selections."
Schreiber said he does not believe that XLK is leaning one way or the other at this point.
"I've heard some rumors that he might have committed to Oklahoma State," Schreiber said. "But I know those aren't true and Xavier said they weren't. He's going to take his time, enjoy his visits and see what happens."
