In the state of Georgia, they don’t get any bigger than Richard Cook. H is one mountain of a man at 6-foot-4 and 265-pounds. It also doesn’t get much bigger for Georgia, too.
That’s because Cook is a Dawg.
“I’ve always been a Dawg deep down, but I needed to see what it was like on an official visit, and once I saw it, I loved it,” Cook said.
Cook said it was just a feeling that he got on the visit that made him pick UGA.
“Something about the players, coaches and fans all clicked for me,” he said. “I already felt like I was part of the team. I belonged.”
Cook said he is a solid commitment and is not going to take any other trips – including a scheduled visit to Tennessee on January 17.
“I’m done,” he said. “Put that up on your website.”
Cook is ranked as the nation’s No. 6 strongside defensive end and a four-star pick.
