Position: Offensive tackle
Size and speed: Jeff is 6-foot-4, 280 pounds. He runs a 4.95 second 40-yard dash.
Statistics: Last season Jeff had 45 pancake blocks and did not allow a sack in 12 games. As a part-time player on defense, he had 46 tackles, two sacks, four tackles for loss, two fumble recoveries and two pass knockdowns. Jeff has a maximum bench press of 380 pounds; he squats 560 pounds and has a 30-inch vertical jump.
Honors: All-county, all-area, all-division
Favorite Schools: Jeff lists Maryland, Boston College, Virginia, Pittsburgh, Northwestern, Rutgers, Wisconsin and Penn State as his top schools for now. He has an offer from Maryland at this time.
Skinny: Last year Jeff played his senior season at J.P. Stevens High School in Edison, N.J., but he will attend the Hun School this year in order to get one more year of high school football. He is very big, strong and confident and has the size to play either offensive tackle or guard at the D-1 level. Jeff has already put on 20 pounds of muscle since the end of last season and is now the target of many recruiters from around the country.
"I would like to attend a school that combines a high level of academics with a big-time program."
At the recent Rivals100 Junior Day at Rutgers University, Zuttah looked the part of an offensive guard or tackle with his thick, long arms and massive upper body and he should be one of the most coveted linemen in Jersey this year.
