Big Jersey ATH is gaining interest

After transferring from Neptune as a sophomore, athlete Timothy Wright out of Wall, N.J. posted 700 yards rushing, eight total touchdowns, 30 tackles and two interceptions in just six games. The big season has resulted in a fair amount of interest for the 6-foot-4, 200-pounder.
"I'm getting letters from Iowa, Rutgers, Yale, Boston College, Harvard, Connecticut, Maryland, Temple, Purdue and I think a few more," he said. "Nobody has offered yet, and I don't have any favorites. I like everyone that is showing me interest."

With no clear cut favorites, Wright went on to discuss what he's looking for in a college.
"I'm looking for good academics, something in business or medicine," he stated. "I think I'd like to stay around the Northeast. I haven't decided on that yet, but somewhere relatively around here. I'd also like to go to a bigger school if I could as a wide receiver."
Following his junior season, Wright earned all-area honors.
The Garden State prospect plans to prove himself to recruiters more later this spring by attending the Elite College Combine and Nike Camp in New York.
