Big in-state visit planned for Lousiana OG

For a big man like Alex Hill, things are moving fast these days. Already with an offer from Texas A&M, the big offensive lineman recently added a Tulane offer to his list. In addition to that, Hill has a big visit coming up to one of the top schools on his list of favorites.
"I got offered by Tulane," Hill said. "It came in last Thursday and I went to their junior day Saturday. It was really good. They have a head coach that is really a great person. Bob Toledo is a really great guy and they have a lot of team chemistry."

While the Tulane offer was exciting, another in-state school has shown Hill some increased interest: the LSU Tigers.
"I go to LSU next Wednesday," he said. "One of the coaches came to the school and talked to me and he wants me to come. Les Miles wants to talk to me and I'm getting a tour around campus."
While Hill has been to the Baton Rouge campus before, he has never been to visit in this capacity. He has also never had the privilege of meeting Coach Miles.
"Oh yeah, I'm excited," he said. "I've been there before but I haven't been around the complete campus. I've never even seen [Les Miles] in person. I'm really excited."
On Monday, Hill and his teammates began spring practice which has been a break from Hill's AAU basketball schedule. While he is an athletic big man on the basketball court, he is ready to get focused on the gridiron.
"We started spring practice today," he said. "It went great. We have like 30 seniors this year and you can just see the chemistry. I'm planning on being the leader."
Once the summer hits, Hill will still be busy, balancing football and basketball but he already has plans to attend camps at LSU, Tulane and Texas A&M.
