Welcome to recruiting.
It was widely known that today was supposed to be the day that Herman Johnson, the monster four-star offensive tackle from Denton, Texas, announced his decision between LSU and Oklahoma.
And after hours and hours of deliberation there was at least one announcement.
The much anticipated commitment news from the four-star offensive tackle looks to be on hold – once again.
After saying on Sunday that he was going to announce between LSU and Oklahoma today, Johnson, who is 6-foot-8 and almost 400 pounds, told his coaches this morning that it might be Thursday before he announces.
“He is now putting off his announcement until Thursday,” Denton assistant coach Brandon Melson said. “LSU is here to visit with him today and coach Gundy from Oklahoma will be here on Wednesday.”
