Olney (Md.) Our Lady Of Good Counsel safety Frank Tamakloe wanted to make one thing clear when he started talking about making his decision. He wanted to personally thank all the coaches from Northwestern, Maryland and all the other schools that had offered him a scholarship.
But in the end, the 6-foot-3, 189-pounder had two words to describe where he was at with the recruiting process.
"On Wisconsin," Tamakloe said.

Tamakloe committed to the Badgers just moments ago, picking Wisconsin over scholarship offers from Iowa, Louisville, Maryland, North Carolina, N.C. State, Northwestern, Syracuse, Wake Forest, West Virginia and others. In the end, Tamakloe said his final choice came down to Wisconsin, Northwestern and Maryland.
"I'm a Badger," Tamakloe said. "I narrowed things down and Wisconsin was No. 1A, Northwestern was No. 1B and Maryland was No. 1C, and it was a blessing to be offered by all of the schools. But I went and visited Wisconsin, I found it was the right fit for me.
"I built a great relationship with coach Kerry Cooks, who will be my position coach. That had a great deal with my decision."
In the end, Tamakloe said it was a tough pick.
"It was very difficult," he said. "All the coaches were great, and I was lucky to get these offers. But Wisconsin is the place for me. You also can't beat the education at Wisconsin. The school is a great fit for me in every way."
