Big game leads to new offer for 3-star

Just two days after he picked up his third star in the latest Rivals.com rankings update, Duncan (S.C.) Byrnes wide receiver Shaedon Meadors showed he more than earned it by hauling in nine passes for 178 yards and four touchdowns in his team's victory over Apopka (Fla.) on national television.
Following the game, Meadors added another item to his resume, an offer from Tulane. The Green Wave joins Marshall, Toledo and several other schools on his offer list.

"The coach hit me up on Facebook and let me know I had an offer," Meadors said. "I don't really know much about them but I've seen them play before."
Meadors said he's already feeling the effects of playing and performing well on the national stage.
"It feels good," Meadors said. "I couldn't have done it without my coaches and teammates."
Previously in the year Meadors named the Thundering Herd following a visit to campus, but now he said he's back at square one.
"I don't have a leader right now," he said. "I hope interest keeps picking up."
Meadors next trip is set for Sept. 14, when he plans on taking an unofficial visit to Old Dominion.
