Niceville (Fla.) running back Devon Freeman is focused on the state playoffs, while getting serious interest from two schools, including one from a BCS conference.
"South Florida has been putting a lot of heat on me lately," Freeman said. "They send me stuff all the time and one of the coaches came down here to see me."

Bulls assistant head coach and co-defensive coordinator Rick Kravitz is leading the South Florida charge.
"They've had a couple of good wins this year," Freeman said. "Especially that upset win (45-14) against Louisville."
Is he ready to name USF his leader?
"I am actually just focusing on the high school season right now," Freeman said. "After it is over, I am going to sit down and sort things out. You could say that (South Florida) is up there right now, though because of all the attention they have shown me."
The 5-foot-10, 189-pounder also received a written offer from Division I-AA Western Illinois in the last two weeks. Illinois and Maryland also have stopped by his school inquiring about him.
He plans visit Western Illinois and South Florida in January. No dates have finalized.
Freeman has 1,100 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns in nine games. Niceville plays Longwood in the second round of the state playoffs Friday night.
