Big East school offers QB Kelly

Buffalo (N.Y.) St. Joseph's quarterback Chad Kelly made headlines more than a week ago when word of his verbal offer from Florida State began to spread.
It should have been clear that Kelly, the nephew of former Buffalo Bills' great Jim Kelly, wasn't done picking up offers.

The 6-foot-3, 205-pound prospect just picked up an offer from a local Big East school.
"Syracuse just offered me," Kelly said late Sunday evening. "I just heard about it. My dad actually called me and told me I got it. I have no clue how it happened. He said something about their offensive coordinator calling my uncle (Jim Kelly) and telling him.
"We took a visit there (to Syracuse) this year already. It was real sweet. They've got a nice crowd and the coaches are real cool."
Florida State, Syracuse, Buffalo and Western Michigan are the schools that have offered Kelly.
What does the future hold?
"I think we're going to go visit Florida State on April 16 for their spring game," he said. "Then we'll probably keep checking Buffalo out, just going back to the campus and talking to the coaches."
Kelly said he will visit as many schools as possible in the summer because his games in the fall will be on Saturdays. That means he could make his decision over the summer or around the start of the school year.
Does he have a favorite?
"Florida State's definitely up there," he admitted. "They're a wonderful school. Buffalo is close to home, and I've been getting some interest from Michigan State and Tennessee so I want to hear more from them."
