Big East Leader for LB

Cincinnati (Ohio) St. Xavier linebacker Matt Vogele still lists the University of Pittsburgh as his leader.
“My visit went really well when I was down there,” said the 6-foot-2 225-pounder, “Their new facilities are amazing and I felt really comfortable in the city of Pittsburgh.”

Vogele is still gaining interest from some other schools as well. He plans on setting up a couple visits in near future.
“I am definitely going to visit Boston College sometime in January,” said Vogele. “I just have to call them and tell them what week I will visit.”
The linebacker noted how Boston College had promised him a scholarship if he does in fact visit the school. He is also thinking about possible official visits at Miami (OH) and Bowling Green. He has already checked out Illinois on his own, but BC and Pitt seem to be his top two.
“Yes, I am interested in what Boston College has to offer,” said Vogele, “Pitt is still my leader, but that is because I have not had any other schools to compare it with.”
Vogele is being recruited as both an inside and outside linebacker. He plans on working out as much as possible this spring to get stronger for the college game. He also mentioned how it would be great to play with his good buddy and classmate Kyle Ralph, the blue chip lineman who decided against Vanderbilt. However, he feels that they will probably go to different schools unless they both decide on Pittsburgh.
