Big East, Big Ten intrigued by Hashagen

Despite missing a part of his junior season due to a concussion, West Grove (Pa.) Avon Grove offensive tackle Paul Hashagen is garnering some major college interest. The 6-foot-4, 270-pounder has schools from the Big East and Big Ten in pursuit.
"We've gotten a lot of letters inviting him to camps and stuff," his father, John Hashagen said. "I know we're planning to go to Michigan for camp in June for two days and we are looking at two days at Penn State. We've also sent tape to Iowa, Pittsburgh, Princeton and a few others."

Does Hashagen have a favorite?
"I know he'd love to go to Notre Dame, every kid would," he said. "He's been a Notre Dame fan forever and just grew up on them."
Hashagen went on to describe what kind of player his son is.
"He's a leader, a vocal leader on and off the field," he said. "He's big and is someone other kids look up to. They listen to him and he's been a captain on the line for three years."
