Big DT hears from Nebraska, Michigan

With one offer on the table from Boston College and continuing interest from top schools, defensive tackle and offensive guard Thomas Claiborne is becoming a hot prospect out of Wellesley, Mass.
The 6-foot-3, 310-pounder has recently been receiving more mail from Nebraska and Michigan, although he also has interest from Connecticut and North Carolina.

This season Clairborne helped Wellesley to a 7-6 record as he recorded 35 tackles and four sacks. He went on to be named a metro west all-star and first team Bay City league all-star.
"I think I did pretty well this season," he said. "My quickness got a little better and I know my sophomore year I wasn't nearly as fast off the line."
Clairborne is still wide open in his recruitment, but is planning to take visits to both Rutgers and Boston College in April. He is really looking forward to the upcoming Nike Combine at Penn State.
He is also preparing for the SATs and ACTs in the coming month.
This summer Clairborne expects to camp at Boston College and perhaps Michigan.
