Big development for LB
East Cleveland (Ohio) Shaw linebacker Reggie Smith loved his visit to Boston College last weekend and always liked Virginia as well. Something has now changed all of that.
"Ohio State offered me last Tuesday and I'll probably commit to them this week," said the 6-foot-2, 236-pounder. "It was out of the blue. They had been recruiting me all along, but I didn't think they'd offer me."

Smith, who was scheduled to visit Virginia on Dec. 6 and loved his trip to Chestnut Hill, Mass. last week, was at the Buckeye game this weekend.
"It was just a great atmosphere," he said. "I'm going to talk things over with my coach and family and probably commit to them this week or next. I can't say I'm eliminating anyone, but I cancelled my Iowa visit this past weekend to go to OSU. That tells you something right?"
