Big DE Favors ACC School

One of the top strongside defensive ends in the country has a leader and will be visiting his favorite team in a few weeks.
"Right now I'd say that I like Virginia the best, but it's close," said 6-foot-4, 260-pound defensive end Allen Billyk from New Castle, Pa. "I feel really comfortable with coach (Danny) Rocco there and I liked the other coaches, academics and the area when I visited."

Billyk is taking an official visit to UVA on Nov. 15 although the date hasn't been finalized just yet. That's the weekend that the Cavaliers host undefeated NC State in a huge ACC showdown. In addition to Virginia, Billyk likes some other teams as well.
"Stanford, Ohio State, Michigan, and Pitt," he said when asked to round out his top five. "Michigan State is in there as well and I'm still interested, but they're not playing too well."
Billyk said he expects an offer from Stanford once he clears admissions and is hoping for offers from Ohio State and Michigan.
"They're low on scholarships, but said they are interested," he said. "I have an offer from Virginia and both MSU and Pitt have offered as well so I can't go wrong anyhow. I'd like to take all five of my official visits. There's a slight chance I could commit when I visit Virginia, but I doubt it."
Billyk's team is 7-0 so far this season and he has more than 50 tackles and three sacks. He also has a defensive touchdown on a fumble recovery. He expects to be at the Ohio State-Penn State game this upcoming weekend on an unofficial visit.
