Big boys coming after QB

Quarterback Gene Delle Donne has had an offer on the table from Duke for a while now, and the Devils are continuing to push for the Delaware prospect.
The 6-foot-5, 225-pound passer from Wilmington (De.) Salesianum runs the 40-yard dash in 4.8 seconds and has a good arm and accuracy. He's receiving interest from schools like Georgia, Notre Dame and Michigan, in addition to Duke.

"I'm going to visit Duke in late May, I think on the 28th," said Delle Donne. "That will be a pretty important trip, because I like them a lot. They haven't had as much success on the field as some of the other schools, but this staff is doing a good job. They won a couple of ACC games and are focusing on continuing to improve.
"If some of the others like Georgia or Michigan or somebody like that were to offer, it would probably change things. I love Duke because of the great academics, the conference and the chance to play early, but I'm not ready to make a decision. I want to make sure I know all my options."
While other schools are interested in Delle Donne, Duke has recruited him the hardest by far.
"Oh yeah, they're definitely recruiting me the hardest," he said. "I probably know more about them than any other school, and their coaches are doing a good job of building relationships with me. I feel like I've known them for a long time, and we get along really well. If I were to go there I think they'd help me improve a lot, as a player, student and person."
