Big 2014 LB drawing attention

Linebacker Shacor Privott of Wilbraham (Mass.) Wilbraham and Monson Academy does not come from a recruiting area that is very deep in talent, but at 6-foot-2 and 240-pounds, he is beginning to gain some attention.
"Recruiting is going ok," said Privott. "I have a few schools that have invited me to games for unofficials. Duke and UMass have invited me to games."

Besides Duke and UMass, Privott mentioned that he has also been receiving steady mail from Rutgers, Connecticut and Nebraska. At this time he does not have any visits schedules for the fall.
Privott's season opener is coming up this Saturday and he will be lining up at both outside linebacker and running back.
"My goals are to make every one of my teammates better for having played with me," said Privott. "When I say better, I mean a better person as well as a football player. And I just want to be the best I can be."
Privott, who had an impressive performance at this summer's NUC Elite 100 Camp in Delaware, worked hard during the off-season to improve his game.
"I worked to improve everything, but what I stressed was footwork and speed," he said.
