Big 2009 WR is receiving lots of interest

Rivals100 to Watch 2009 wide receiver Brandon Scott has seen his recruitment pick up in the past couple months. Has the 6-foot-4, 205-pounder out of Woodbridge (Va.) Forest Park picked up any offers and does he have a favorite?
"As far as recruiting is going, I don't have offers, but I'm getting a lot of mail right now," he said. "I'd say Boston College is sending me the most stuff and then I've also gotten a lot from Duke, Southern Cal, Penn State, Virginia Tech, Virginia and a lot of others.

"Boston College seems the one closest to offering. They really want to, but need some game film. I think they want me to come for a visit."
Although he doesn't have any offers, Scott is claiming a favorite.
"I've wanted to go to Penn State since I was 11-years old," he said. "It's just the football atmosphere. They have big-time tradition and I like the stadium filled with screaming fans. They are completely full every home game. The coaches are great guys too. It's a fun environment to play football."
If Penn State were to offer, is there a chance Scott could commit?
"I'd probably take other schools in consideration, but there is a good chance I might commit."
Meanwhile, the Commonwealth junior is looking at some unofficial visits.
"I'm trying to figure them out," he said. "I think I may try to get to Wake Forest, Clemson, Rutgers and back down to Penn State.
"I've already been to Duke this year for a game. I like it. Their facilities were nice, the campus was great and they just got a new football building up."
Scott has missed most of this season due to injuries. He did touch on what makes him stand out as a player though.
"I guess it's that I'm always willing to do directly what the coaches say," he said. "I run disciplined routes and that sets me apart from other players too.
"I definitely need to work on my reaction off the snap. Also, being so tall, I need to work on my stride some more."
