Big 12 school at top for LB

Claremont, Calif., linebacker Nathan Thomas has received a lot of interest from schools across the country, but he has his eyes set on one school.
“Everything is going good,” the 6-foot-1, 220-pound Thomas said. “I’m getting mail from a lot of schools. Some from the west coast and others from the east coast and a lot of them in between.”

Thomas has yet to receive any scholarship offers.
“I don’t have any offers, yet,” he said. “I think I’ll get something before long, but so far, nothing.”
Thomas has appeared to have locked in on one school at this point in the process.
“Oklahoma is my favorite,” he said. “That’s mainly it. I like them. I like their tradition. I like the way they turn out linebackers. And, they win.
“I’m going to go to Oklahoma’s camp. That’s the only camp I will go to this summer. They have been calling my high school coach, Mike Collins, and filling him in on camps and what dates they have to choose from. I don’t have the dates set for sure, but I will be there for their camp.”
As a junior, Thomas finished with 101 tackles and eight quarterback sacks.
