Big 12 program has Petrys attention

Missouri City (Texas) Fort Bend Ridge Point Rivals250 cornerback Terry Petry has already received scholarship offers from Kansas and Houston, and interest has arrived from Texas, Baylor, and Oklahoma.
The process is in the beginning stages and he is sorting though his options but he does admit he grew up a fan of the Texas Longhorns. This summer he was able to attend the Texas Under the Lights camp and he came away impressed with what he saw in the Longhorn program.

"It's just everything about the Longhorn program," Petry said. "It's the way they make you feel as you get down there not only as a player but as a person. Just their support and everything."
Petry also attended an Oklahoma camp this summer, and this fall he plans to attend games at Baylor and Texas. At this time he has not decided which games he will attend.
"I'm not really sure yet," Petry said. "I need to take a look at the schedule and pick out a few."
Petry earned first-team all-district honors as a sophomore in 2014 after recording nine pass break-ups, two interceptions, and 23 tackles. He also averaged over 35 yards as a kick returner.
He is currently ranked No. 190 in the 2017 Rivals250 and No. 21 among the nation's 2017 cornerbacks.
